Demand side platform (DSP)

A demand-side platform is a technological platform with a biddings algorithm. A demand-side platform allows advertisers and agencies to centrally purchase online media from various sources, like ad exchanges, ad networks and sell-side platforms (SSP), in an automated way. A DSP aims to purchase display impressions against an optimal eCPM, by using the data about the internet user. In addition, a DSP allows the real-time trading of advertising space, real-time bidding.
