Sell side platform (SSP)

A sell-side platform (SSP) is a technological platform that enables the automated trading of advertising space through various parties. An SSP allows the automated yield optimalization for publishers through algorithms which make sure that the publisher receives the highest possible revenue for each impression. An SSP is connected to all parties to which the publisher sells her advertising space like DSP’s, ad exchanges and advertising networks. In most cases a SSP also enables commercial arrangements with specific parties.
