The Company for the country manager Australia:

My client is a successful organization based in Amsterdam specialized in leadgeneration. Currently they consist of 10 full time professionals active in several countries in Europe and North America. They perform leadgeneration (co-sponsoring and co-registration) as well as B2C services for the top 500 companies across the globe. They focus mainly on prospects in the travel, daily deal, eCommerce, direct marketing, finance and telecom sectors.

The role as country manager Australia:

The country manager Australia will be responsible for the further development of an up and running profitable market. The country manager Australia will be replacing the person who is currently responsible for this market. You will be mainly responsible for generating new business by cold calling and managing existing accounts to ensure client retention (the split is 50/50). The country manager is fully responsible for the success and further development of the Australian market. The country manager needs to have a perfect understanding of Australian corporate markets and have extensive sales experience. Preferable, the country manager Australia has worked in the online sector with leadgeneration products. If not, you will be fully trained for 2 months in my clients HQ in Amsterdam after which you will be relocated to Australia.

What are the requirements?

  • A proven track record in (international) sales (new business, cold calling, business development)
  • A hybrid hunter/farmer mentality
  • Loyal and trustworthy to independently build the Australian office
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian corporate market (top 500 companies)
  • Willing to relocate to Australia
  • Experience in the online sector (performance based / leadgeneration)
  • Ideally 4 to 8 years sales experience in online marketing
  • An outstanding motivational letter
